President Trump Speech in Miami On U.S. Policy (Rubio Introduction)
"A year and a half ago a President, an American President landed in Havana, to outstretch his hand to a regime. Today, a new President landed in Miami to reach out his hand to the people of Cuba".
-Marco Rubio 06/16/2017
Yesterday I left a message with Senator Rubio's office asking him to stand up as a leader of the Senate and the Republican party for the President of the United States. If you have noticed, not many are taking a stand against the onslaught of the Deep State. Few, if any are standing up loud and clear saying "end the Witch Hunt!". I haven't heard an impassioned demand from any leaders in the House or Senate calling for the investigation of Clinton, Lynch, Comey, Valerie Jarrett, Obama or any other Democrat. Maybe someone has and I missed it but if they are, they are whispering when they should be screaming. I mean, Republicans are now taking bullets figuratively as well as demonstrably so can someone give the President as the leader of the Republican Party and the President of the United States some air support? Throw up a shield in front of him every now and then because the incoming fire isn't friendly! Maybe even show a little back bone and courage of their so called convictions would be nice. After all, this is a Republic, if we can keep it.
Anyway, I digress.
Whereas this isn't Rubio standing strong against the Democrats and their lies on behalf of the administration, this is however a Marco Rubio showing strong support for Trump, to thunderous applause and shouts of "U.S.A.! U.S.A.!"...and telling the truth. It's a start.
Having been raised in Miami and lived there for 38 years, I have a definite soft spot for the Cuban people. Rubio's words begin at the 1:28 mark, Trump at the 21 minute mark. -W.E.
