WATCH: CNN Reporter Reaches New Low, Statement On Infamous Trump Document Given

Evan Perez has an interesting take on the “facts.”

The media war on Trump, their war against truth and information, as well as their propagandizing of the American people never lets up or takes a day off.  Daily disinformation in all forms of media is an assault on America, it is a national security matter and We The People must call it out and fight back with the truth and with the same amount of urgency the media has in their efforts to turn America's Republic into a complete socialist one world society. -W.E.

CNN correspondent Evan Perez should really make sure he has his facts straight before he makes a statement. Of course, that should seem like common sense for an on-air contributor that people rely on for news. This is CNN we are talking about though.
Perez managed to reach a new low with a statement on the now infamous Trump-Russia dossier. It has been fact, cold hard truth since the beginning and everyone knows, the dossier was funded by the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Exactly when and where Perez decided that it was actually bankrolled by the Republicans is unknown. Clearly, it would make no sense for the Party to try and sabotage their own candidate.

Yet that is exactly what Perez claimed when responding to a tweet from the president who called the document a “pile of garbage.”

Perez, who has close and undisclosed ties to the co-founders of Fusion GPS stated;

“Look, the fact is that the dossier was compiled as part of opposition research, first paid for by Republicans who were opposed to Donald Trump and then later on by Democrats and the Clinton camp, people associated with the Clinton campaign who wanted to try to bring him down.”

The “fact” that Perez emphatically references is false. It has been ruled so even by fact-checkers that wanted so badly to find differently.

Paul Singer, a Republican donor originally hired Fusion GPS, that is true. He hired the firm through the Washington Free Beacon to reportedly conduct opposition research on then-candidate Trump and other candidates. The research was unrelated to the dossier.

It might be a mistake. We can all admit that people make mistakes. However, if it is, it would be at least the third time that CNN has stated the dossier was funded by Republicans.

If it is indeed an error on their part, perhaps they should look into new researchers who can get the facts correct.
