The Collapse of Western Civilization

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
-Psalm 9:17

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."

-Psalm 33:12

PJW had me from start to...well....almost to the finish.

As I listened and watched, I was wondering if he turned all Evangelical on us or something which would be most excellent.   But sadly no.  His "sermon" hearkened back with the same sour taste of Comey's infamous press conference where Comey quite convincingly numbered several of Hillary Clinton's felonies....and then astonishingly, incredulously said these 7 fateful words: "No reasonable prosecutor would bring a case".

So why then am I spreading this word today by sharing his video?  Because he is 95% correct and it is a message that if heard, is of utter importance, it's just the conclusion that has gone awry.  Our nation doesn't know what it doesn't know. Our nation doesn't know about our Christian roots. Secularists and Progressive have hidden that from our history for most of this generation.
But historian Alexis de Tocqueville knew what made our nation great and it wasn't our GDP, but rather that blessing like all others is a by-product of a nation that knew God.  He wrote famously:

"Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her pulpits aflame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genius and power."

Yes, today the sky is falling. We have been called the "terminal generation" for a reason.  No, it's not because of cows flatulence or your SUV.  It's because America has lost it's roots and it is because a tree whose roots are dying beneath the ground will display discolored and dying leaves above the ground.
NEWSFLASH: Look around, America has lost more than just a few leaves.
Continuing with this metaphor, if America is a tree, most of the leaves that are left are drooping and many branches have become brittle.

This America is thirsty.

Where can this America find water then? Where is our hope to quench this terminal thirst?  The Pilgrims knew the answer.  Many early American settlers knew the answer and many generations since then have too:

"Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink." -John 7:37
